Meet Dr. Jean Font
Meet Jean Paul Font, MD
Dr. Jean Paul Font developed his love for helping patients while studying Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico. He graduated with honors and performed research in both basic and clinical science to advance scientific and medical knowledge in different areas, including Otolaryngology.
He then moved to Galveston, Texas where he graduated valedictorian of his class at the University of Texas Medical Branch in 2009. He also completed his Otolaryngology specialty residency training and general surgery internship here.
After his residency, Dr. Font completed additional specialty fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
He has been a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Academy of Otolaryngology including General Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery since 2010. Because of this, Dr. Font is extensively trained in minimally invasive sinus surgery and treats a diverse range of complicated Otolaryngology pathologies.
Dr. Font’s focus and expertise include:
- Chronic Sinusitis - Balloon Sinuplasty and Sinus Surgery
- Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery
- Head and Neck Surgery
- Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Font also serves as a Clinical Professor at the Florida International University and Clinical Faculty of the General Surgery Residency Program at the Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami.
