Our Aesthetics and Facial Plastics Treatments
Dr. Jean Font is our plastic surgeon who specializes in face, nose, and sinus surgery. He takes the time to understand your concerns and needs to develop a personalized treatment plan that meets your expectations.
Facial plastic surgery is an excellent technique to address many undesirable traits and signs of accelerated aging. Cosmetic surgery can help you feel better about yourself by changing how you appear. Doctor Font emphasizes natural and inconspicuous cosmetic treatments, which add rather than change a person's appearance. As with all elective surgical procedures, good health and realistic expectations are required.
Rhinoplasty, or nose surgery, is one of the most common cosmetic procedures performed. It can change the shape and size of your nose, improve breathing function or correct a birth defect.
Most people choose rhinoplasty to improve the way they look. If you don't like the way your nose looks, it can impact your self-confidence. A "nose job" can also help with breathing problems caused by structural abnormalities in the nose.
Revision rhinoplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to correct or improve the appearance of previous nose surgery. Revision rhinoplasty may be necessary if the original surgery results in an undesirable appearance, breathing problems, or other issues.
A facelift is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to improve the appearance of the face and neck. It can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age lines, tighten loose skin, and improve the contours of the face.
Although a facelift can create very noticeable differences, they are not permanent changes. The results of the surgery will eventually fade and you may want to consider another procedure every five to ten years. However, in some ways the effects are permanent; even years later, your face will still look better than if you never had the surgery.
Eyelid surgery, also known as blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to improve the appearance of the eyelids. The procedure usually lasts between 45 minutes to a few hours, depending on how much work needs to be done. It's important to note that blepharoplasty can't be used to raise the eyebrows or reduce wrinkles, crow’s feet appearance, or dark circles under the eyes, but it can be combined with other procedures like a facelift and BOTOX® cosmetic treatments which would then enable those results.
Contour Threads™ is a new, minimally invasive treatment for facial rejuvenation. They are made of biocompatible materials that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, leading to a more youthful appearance.
Contour Threads™ are inserted into the skin using a small needle. Once in place, they stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, leading to a youthful appearance.
Otoplasty is a cosmetic surgery procedure performed to improve the appearance of the ears. It can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and age lines, tighten loose skin, and improve the contours of the ears.
Otoplasty is a relatively minor procedure that can provide significant improvements in the appearance of the ears. The results of surgery are usually permanent, although they may fade over time.
Botulinum toxin is used in a cosmetic procedure to enhance the look of the face and neck. Forehead creases, frown lines, crow's feet, and neck bands are a few of the wrinkles that may be treated.
Botox is a cosmetic treatment that reduces wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and other areas of the face. Botox injections are typically performed on men and women who are healthy and have visible lines but not yet deeply etched into their skin.
Injectable fillers are substances that can temporarily improve the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles. They work by filling in hollows, folds, or wrinkles beneath the skin. There are many different types of fillers available on the market including Restylane®, Juvéderm™, Radiesse® and Sculptra™. Most fillers offer temporary results and typically require repeat treatments to maintain the effect. In general, good candidates for injectable filler procedures include men and women who would like to improve their appearance by correcting a loss of volume or reducing visible lines and wrinkles.
Restylane® and Juvederm™ are both composed of hyaluronic acid. Restylane® can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles, shape facial contours, and add fullness to lips; results typically last for up to one year. Similarly, Juvéderm™ can fill in deep facial folds and lines, contour features such as the chin and cheeks, and restore lip fullness; however, these effects generally only last for up to six months.
Radiesse® is a calcium hydroxyapatite material that can be used to treat wrinkles, creases, and scars. Results may last anywhere from one to two years. Sculptra® (polylactic acid) may be injected into sunken cheeks, hollow eyes, indentations, folds, and other sunken regions of the face for up to two years to restore volume and appearance.
Cheek and chin implants are often used to improve symmetry in the face or to add prominence to features that seem undersized. This is a fairly simple plastic surgery procedure that can provide long-lasting improvement. Good candidates for cheek or chin implant procedures include healthy men and women who are looking to improve a lack of volume in the cheek, chin, or jaw area.
